Monoclonal antibody ascites is produced in BALBc mice induced with your hybridoma cells. Volume of ascites produced varies with each cell line but a minimum of 5 ml per mouse is expected.

Polyclonal mouse ascites is produced by immunizing BALBc mice with your antigen to achieve acceptable titer, followed by intra peritoneal injection of Sp20 myeloma cells to induce ascites production. Ascites, containing polyclonal antibody, is collected after 7-21 days with a minimum of 5 ml expected.
